Analysis of the Distribution of The Population Concentration of Anbar Province for The Period 1997 - 2017 Using Statistical Methods and Applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Abstract

The research aims to detect the temporal and spatial differences in the study of population concentration in Anbar province، and follow its various aspects، that is، it is concerned with spatial relations analysis in the measurement of concentration during the period 1997-2017.
This study tends to be a comprehensive approach that monitors and follows the distribution of the population in order to interpret its characteristics، in light of the effect of a set of statistical indicators، as well as the applications of Arc GIS 10.4.1 using Spatial Statistics Tools in GIS، The ideal means of spatial analysis of geographic events.
The study of the distribution of the population shows the extent of population concentration or dispersion on the area. This distribution is an important factor in determining and defining the type of services and to what extent the services available meet the needs of the population. We can distinguish three patterns of distribution of the population in the province is a distributed distribution pattern scattered and scattered، which emerged from the research.
