Abstract

The classification of the land cover cultivates in the study area, the map of the hydroponic soils, the S and AI parameters to determine the best water harvesting sites, and the application of the SCS-CN model showed that the best methods of water harvesting that can be applied in the study area are (Dredges). They measure water, create lakes in front of dams at natural depressions and runoffs that penetrate beneath the surface covered with glades. The results also show the importance of supporting such research in sustainable areas in dry environments in order to create a planned and environmentally friendly agricultural production system.
