The Degree of Inclusion of The Questions of Literature and Texts for the Fifth Grade literary in Iraq of Creative Thinking Skills
Abstract
This study aims to identify the questions of literature and texts for the fifth grade in Iraq for the skills of creative thinking, and may be the study community of the book of literature and texts for the fifth grade literary in Iraq, the researcher analyzed the content of the book (sample study) Creative work available in this book, and to achieve this researcher tried to answer the following questions:
1- What is the frequency of creative thinking skills included in the questions of literature and texts for the fifth grade literary in Iraq?
2- How are the sub-skills of creative thinking distributed on their main skills (fluency, flexibility, originality, and expansion) in the questions of literature and texts for the fifth grade in Iraq?
After the analysis of the study sample book, by calculating the ratios of repetitions of creative thinking, the researcher concluded the following results:
The results of the study showed that by answering the first question, the researcher studied the relevant educational literature and asked an open question: "What creative thinking skills should be included in the questions of literature and texts for the fifth grade in Iraq?" On a number of experts and specialists To express an opinion on the skills of creative thinking contained in the questions of literature and texts for the fifth grade literary in Iraq proposed to be included in the study tool. The study tool in its final form consisted of (4) main skills, which were subdivided by (27) subtractive skills (1): the skill of fluency and subdivision (9) sub-skill, (7) sub-skill, and the skill of expansion and branching (5) skill, and repeated sub-skills (5) once, distributed sub-skills.
With regard to the second question, to answer the question, the researcher collected the repetitions of sub-skills belonging to each major skill in the questions of literature and text for the fifth grade literary, and calculate the percentage of the total of these frequencies, and the collection of duplicates belonging to each major skill, and extract the percentage of the total of these frequencies , And a statement of the rank of each skill among the study skills.
In light of these results, the researcher recommends the following:
1- Include the book of literature and texts for the fifth-grade literary skills of creative thinking.
2- Review the contents of the book of literature and texts for the fifth grade literary, including important skills overlooked by the current book, including the statement of the skill of originality, flexibility and expansion.
3- Stay away from the random in the inclusion of creative thinking skills in the book of literature and texts for the fifth grade in Iraq in order to balance the curriculum.
4- The need to involve all specialists in the curriculum, psychologists in the development of creative thinking skills that achieve the desired goals.
5- To include in the teacher's manual a number of teaching methods that emphasize the skills of creative thinking both in the context of presentation of the material, or through activities or assessments of various kinds.
6- Raising the efficiency of teachers to implement the curricula that involve the skills of creative thinking through the development of their abilities to create creative ways and means and educational activities enhanced the creative thinking skills of learners.
