British Oil Concessions in Nigeria 1903 - 1958

Abstract

The Importance of this research is the detection British Oil Privilege in Nigeria 1903 – 1958, Since the first beginning about the work of companies in its exploration and research, So the British government brings laws to permit the British companies that records in its book only in Nigeria, But the British companies found many difficulties during oil discovery and the introduction was Lime discovery in the first diging, there for, The effort of getting oil was canceled, The matter that obliged companies to reduce the prevented area, As well as the appearance of Nigerian signs popular resistance and they were prevented the British companies the continous work, Then they forced to is required stopping their ward for many years, when the companies are done their matter . They returned extracting oil with commercial big portions achieved many benefits materials . In addition to that, developing Nigerian establishments after the Nigerian government has got gains and benefits during this privileges .
