Preparing and circulating the topographic map of Tikrit City
Abstract
Topographic maps are maps showing the three dimensions of the points on which they appear. This indicates the topography of the earth and shows the elevation of the points for each other or for a fixed level of comparison to the map showing the horizontal projection of the natural or industrial features in the region. The topographical maps produced by the traditional methods suffer from some ambiguity in the interpretation of the natural and human surface of the earth, especially those maps that are derived and interpreted from the aerial images, which have an effect on the identification of these parameters during the change of scale from large to small because of the lack of a geographic database for these Which require modification, deletion, addition and change in the parameters, symbols and colors of those maps, which affects the process of communication map between the creator of the map and its reader. The aim was to build a topographic map with multiple scales and effective databases using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
