Roger Williams pioneered religious reform in American colonies 1603-1683

Abstract

This study deals with the first reform attempts in the American territories, in the religious aspect, especially the pioneer was a cleric took on the task of doing this task, namely Roger Williams, that dialectical personality that endured various kinds of abuse and oppression and exile, but remained faithful to his views, Which was to see that religion and all ideas and beliefs are found to serve the rights and rights, not persecution and abuse, this study came to review that character from birth and its inception, to emigrate to the US territories, and his role in laying the foundations of religious reform in the colony of Newangland to Wafa E in 1683.
