Poetry immigration in the era of Islam
Abstract
The poetic content in the works of Muslim men of letters is not merely an art، its more oriented towards achieving the ultimate purpose; the call to Allah. It is the directingoriented literature simultaneously، and that what gave the Islamic literature the merit of durabilitythroughout eras، it is a literature committed to the principles of call to Islam as well as to everything that may help humanity rise over extremism، to discipline and intermediation. I tried via this study to look over poetic samples from the Meccans poetry، represented in the following themes: escaping for religious reasons، rejecting the tribal system، departure and separation. Whereas the poets of Medina tackled preference of others over oneself، might، courage، redemption with self، family، money and honor for the sake of Allah’s satisfaction and in defense of His messenger، the last of prophets. Among the themes of Ansar’s (the supporters) poetry that tackled the Prophet’s Hijra (the Migration to Medina) .
