Abstract
It is clear from this study that there are spatial relations between the establishment of chemical industries and the oil industries in Baiji district. Both activities benefit from each other in inputs and outputs. The fertilizer industry relied on raw materials, primarily on natural gas, supplying them with raw materials for the production of nitrogen fertilizers. Ammonia As well as the fertilizer plant, depending on the natural gas carrier line that passes near Baiji as it runs through the open pit and provides enough land. As for the Arab company for detergent chemicals, it depends on the presence of the company refineries of the North, producing raw materials used in the manufacture of detergents and exports all its production outside the country, and we conclude that the asphalt plants in this region is the availability of raw material such as asphalt from the North Refinery Company As well as the presence of the raw material of gravel and sand, which are located in the areas of settlement on the right bank of the Tigris River. There are some divisions in the company of refineries of the North associated with other chemical industries, including the manufacture of fertilizers and benchmarks and asphalt plants.
