The Environmental Impacts of the Road in Kut City

Abstract

Wasit province suffers from the increasing and the busy of transporting movement in it's main street for the increasing of vehicles number in the city after  year 2003 as the borders were opened for the entering of used  recent  vehicles from neighbor countries and importing  great number of government and private vehicles by government besides to the vehicles which where sold to the officials and soldiers and officers by means of installments that caused to the increasing in the number of vehicles to more than 50% for period from year 2007 till 2011. The result is the increasing of traffic and environmental problem in the street of city particularly the air pollution and noisy with accompany of traffic problems such as crashing and turning and astonishing accidents and the delay and time loose and others for the narrow of city street which has limited capacity and some times for the old of city streets and bad planning and the bad of traffic management in them.
As Kut city represent the point contact between Al-Basrah city the main point contact between Al-Basrah city main port of Iraq and Baghdad city the political and commercial capita of Iraq  and other northern provinces, and more of this movement passes in Al Kut city center a crossing Al Nasriya city (Dhi Qar) or crossing Al-Emarah city(Misan).
 The achievement of around way of Kut city will cause to the reducing of traffic busy and it's streets besides the improving  of environment status of city and reducing the noisy and air pollution it.
