Community peaceful coexistence and tolerance In the Western social heritage
Abstract
Since the call for toleration has been started, there was and still there until now, approves and disapprover of it not only on the practical level, but also on the theoretical one. In spite of the call for tolerance, today, has a great universal approval than what it was at the past time or at the times of recalls of it in the modern history, but unfortunately the real ancient and modern history reveals that the practice of such calls remained weak as it is witnessed the historical accidents that are committed by the Europeans after the growing calls for toleration in Europe, such as colonial violence and the violence of wars especially the first and the second world wars, and the violence of racial distinction. The practical commitment for toleration still witnesses deteriorations and sometimes horrible ones even when this term built as the modern accidents witnesses like the ethnic distinction and the social violence and some of the calls and the orientations for non- toleration for which some of them have the formal support such as the enforcement on the foreign communities towards the integration with the whole and preventing some of the cultural phenomena.
This study deals with the appearances of peaceful living and societal toleration in the social heritage is the western social heritage from the time of ancient ages till the present day, Finally, is a conclusion which comes at number of results and recommendations.
